| Canon USA posts File Viewer Utility for Mac OS X |

Canon USA has this morning posted File Viewer Utility v1.1.1, an image browsing and RAW file processing application for the EOS-1Ds, EOS-1D, D60, D30 and several Canon compact cameras, as a free download (camera serial number required). Mac OS 9 and Windows users need not apply: only the version for Mac OS X (v10.1 and later) has been released on Canon's web site, even though File Viewer Utility for those operating systems is already shipping with the EOS-1Ds and other Canon cameras.
