Canon unveils G2

Darren Whitley notes that Canon has unveiled the 4MP Canon Powershot G2, an amateur digital camera and successor to last year's G1. It is expected to ship in September, and sports a list price of US$999. Digital Photography Review, Imaging Resource and Steve's Digicams each have posted first looks or reviews of the new Canon model.
