| Simple technology announces 1GB cards |

Simple Technology has announced CompactFlash flash memory cards in capacities up to 1GB. A 640MB CompactFlash Type I, 850MB CompactFlash Type II and 1GB CompactFlash Type II will be available in limited distribution through the end of September, and widely available in October, says a company news release.
