Lexar Media has announced a US$30 USB CompactFlash Reader, similar in size and appearance to their current USB Jumpshot cable, that doesn't require the installation of a driver on Mac (including OS X) or PC to operate, and is compatible with most brands of CF cards. Microtech recently unveiled a similar product, the SnapSHOT Intelligent Cable, while Feiya's no-driver Rotary Pocket Size R/W CF reader features an innovative fold-out USB connector.
