| Toshiba announces 5 GTB card hard drive |

Toshiba has officially announced their 5GB Type II PC Card hard drive. The card, which is expected to be compatible with Kodak's DCS 700 series cameras, as well as most card readers that accept Type II-size PC Cards, has a suggested list price of US$499. A press release indicates that it's to ship at the end of this month, though Toshiba's online store indicates it usually "ships within 1-3 days" at US$459.
