| Bibble supports D1X RAWs |

Bibble 2.99c for Windows adds support for the Nikon D1X's RAW .NEF format, plus provides improvements to a number of image processing routines for other cameras, in the US$99 program. Both it, and QImage Pro 2001 v1.7 for Windows (currently in beta; download here) perform the interpolation of the D1X's CCD data differently than Nikon, resulting in a larger finished file size. MacBibble for Mac is to be updated "soon," says the Bibble web site, while Bibble author Eric Hyman has announced his intention to make Bibble/MacBibble a full-time enterprise.
