| Canon offers D30 extended warranty |

Canon USA is now offering an extended warranty for the D30. Called the 1-Year Extended Protection Plan, the US$300 (list price) warranty adds an additional year of coverage to Canon USA's warranty, for a total of 2 years of coverage. The plan is available only at the time of D30 purchase, and only on Canon USA product, not grey market cameras.
