A technician from Lexar Media will be on-site at the Northern Short Course in Hartford, Connecticut next week. Brad Ras will be updating Lexar Media CompactFlash cards with firmware that solves a startup delay for Nikon D1 shooters. The company is working on a utility that would enable users to download and install the firmware themselves; other details, including a release date for such a utility, are not yet available.
