Microsoft and Sagem have joined forces to produce a Pocket PC device that can access the Internet via European and Asian GSM networks that support GPRS. GPRS is a protocol for moving data over a GSM mobile phone that provides the potential for much faster data throughput than the current 9600bps or 14,400bps offered by most wireless phone carriers today.
