| Nikon to launch new site |

Nikon is in the process of launching a suite of new web sites: Nikon Net, an online photo service built in conjunction with Zing Network; Nikon Mall, an online store; Nikon MicroscopyU, "an educational forum for all aspects of optical microscopy, digital imaging, and photomicrography:" and Nikon School, which is slated to be online early in 2001. An overhaul of the Nikon USA product web site is also underway, with completion projected by the end of the month. Nikon's new web ventures include tie-ins with Photo District News and washingtonpost.com.
