Adobe announced today that Photoshop 6, the latest upgrade to its powerhouse imaging application, will ship in "late September" at an upgrade price of US$199 for registered users of previous versions of Photoshop in the US or Canada, or US$609 for new purchasers. The program may be pre-ordered from Adobe's web site.
The program's numerous improvements will undoubtedly please web and print designers, but there appears to be little in the list of new features to entice those doing basic imaging editing and captioning to upgrade.
