QImage Pro v8.5 continues journey towards perfect D1 colour

QImage Pro author Michael Chaney has D1 colour clenched in his teeth, and he won't let go.
Version 8.5 of the Windows batch printing and D1 photo processing application is the latest in a succession of program revisions designed to squeeze every last ounce of colour from D1 files. This time, however, the improved colour comes at a price: US$12.99 in fact, to obtain a special plug-in for the US$30 QImage Pro.
Chaney has posted a page of comparison images that display what he believes is the most accurate colour possible from D1 JPEGs.
