| Kodak introduces "Base Camera Kit" pricing for 520, 620 |

In an effort to bring DCS 520 and DCS 620 pricing ever closer to that of the Nikon D1, Kodak has introduced a stripped down version of the package for each camera, called the Base Camera Kit. The Base Camera Kit includes a camera body, straps, Infrared Blocking Filter and documentation. Gone is the Anti-Aliasing Filter, AC adapter, battery charger and whack of cables and adapters, though those items can be purchased separately, in addition to batteries. Look for a price difference of well over US$1000 for the Base Camera Kit, relative to the original kit, which remains available.
