The Dutch photography web site PhotoQ has posted short video interviews in English with nine professional photographers who discuss what PhotoQ believes is lower incomes in the photography profession juxtaposed with the unprecedented demand for visual imagery.
We missed them at the time, but the interviews, which comprise a series that PhotoQ calls "Facing the Future", were conducted last fall at The Day of Photography in Amsterdam. The photographers interviewed include photojournalists such as Ed Kashi of the VII Agency and Peter Van Agtmael of Magnum, fashion photographer Peter Stigter, Iranian photographer Newsha Tavakolian, and others.
