Canon EF500mm f/4L IS II and EF600mm f/4L IS II now shipping in Europe

Canon Europe has announced that the new EF500mm f/4L IS II USM and EF600mm f/4L IS II USM lenses are now shipping to European retail dealers. The lenses, originally scheduled to ship last year, had been delayed, as we detailed in this story in February.
If past history holds, this European announcement means that the lenses will also shortly be shipping in the U.S. (or possibly already are). We'll post an update when we can confirm that.
