Photosmith 2 for Apple's iPad is out. The new version of the app for sorting, rating, captioning and keywording pictures on the go adds two-way wireless syncing with Photoshop Lightroom, support for receiving pictures from Eye-Fi cards, the ability to tag multiple photos simultaneously, automatic sorting with Smart Groups, speed and memory handling improvements and more.
Photosmith 2 is free to licensed users of an earlier Photosmith version. A new license is US$19.99 (or the approximate equivalent in other currencies). It's available from the iTunes App Store on your computer, or from the App Store on an iPad (any generation) running iOS 5.1 or later. Photoshop Lightroom 3.5 or higher is required for syncing (along with the Photosmith 2 plug-in for Lightroom).
If you're running Photosmith 1.x now, be sure to read the upgrade guide before installing Photosmith 2.
