Adobe has posted a release candidate of Camera Raw 7.1 for Photoshop CS6 on Mac and Windows. The near-final version extends RAW conversion support to numerous camera models that aren't supported in the Camera Raw version that ships with Photoshop CS6, including the Canon EOS-1D X and EOS 5D Mark III as well as the Nikon D4, D800 and D800E. It also adds five new lens correction profiles, fixes various bugs and incorporates a Defringe control.
Camera Raw 7.1 release candidate is for Photoshop CS6 only. The latest - and presumably last - Camera Raw update for Photoshop CS5.x is v6.7, released last week.
