PDNOnline recently reviewed the Tripad, a portable hard plastic platform designed to fit on tripods and provide a flat surface large enough to hold an iPad, a laptop tethered to your camera, or other accessories.
The Tripad mounts by slipping over the tripod head and then bracing against the tripod's legs, so it does not use the head's camera mounting screw or require a separate mounting clamp.
The Tripad is available direct from the manufacturer for US$99.95 in the U.S.
