If you'd like to get up to speed on the PowerShot G1 X, Canon's upcoming large-sensor weekend carry-about, the camera's 242-page user manual and 36-page quick-start guide are available for download as PDFs from Canon South and Southeast Asia.
The PowerShot G1 X was announced in January. It features a Canon-developed 14.20 million image pixel CMOS image sensor, one that's almost as large as the company's 1.6X crop factor digital SLRs, with the general styling and features of the company's current PowerShot flagship, the G12.
The G1 X is slated to ship within the next few weeks.
