Multi Accessory Port Adapter AS-N1000, a cold shoe mount for the Nikon 1 V1 camera, is now shipping in the U.S. The primary purpose served by the AS-N1000 is to allow for small external mics, ones with cold shoes such as Nikon's own Stereo Microphone ME-1, to be fitted to the V1.

The AS-N1000 is, as of this writing, in stock at B&H Photo and presumably other retailers that carry the V1 also.
