The inaugural issue of a new photography magazine called Photographer's i, which will be available only on tablet devices, has been published. All of the magazine's issues will be delivered through a free app, which is now available for the iPad and Android tablets.  

Photographer's i promises to make extensive use the interactive capabilities available via tablet publishing, meaning articles may contain video, audio, and interactive tutorials. Its editorial focus is on "pro shooting" across a wide range of fields, and the magazine currently contains no ads.

The first issue features work and stories by Jay Maisel, Steve Simon, Bob Krist, Michael Freeman, Abbas, and several others. The inaugural issue costs US$1.99/UKŁ1.49. Future issues will cost US$5.99.
