| Apple posts Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update 3.8 |

Apple has released Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update 3.8 for the Mac OS. It adds support for the RAW formats of eight additional digital cameras from Olympus, Panasonic, Sony and others.
The full list of newly-added cameras is as follows:
- Konica Minolta DiMAGE A200
- Olympus PEN E-P3
- Panasonic Lumix DMC-G3
- Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF3
- Samsung NX11
- Samsung NX100
- Sony Alpha NEX-C3
- Sony Alpha SLT-A35
Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update 3.8 is available via the Software Update mechanism of Mac OS X 10.6.5 or later (including OS X Lion) or as a standalone updater. Applications that make use of the RAW decode support in the operating system include Aperture, iPhoto and the Finder.
