The Boston Globe has posted a minute-and-a-half video interview (registration required) with the paper's staff photographer, Jim Davis, who captured all three outs of a triple play in a recent Boston Red Sox baseball game. 

The triple play was of the classic 5-4-3 variety (third baseman to second baseman to first baseman). Davis explains how he made crisp pictures of three events that took place 90 ft./27m apart in about three seconds. No remotes were involved. 

The Globe's web site is currently displaying a composite that shows all three images together as the first shot in this slideshow (registration required).
