The U.S. National Press Photographers Association (NPPA) has launched a one-day workshop on effective business practices for freelance photographers. The workshop, called "Business Blitz", kicks off on June 10th in McLean, VA, near Washington DC. From August through November it then travels to Denver, CO; St. Louis, MO; the San Francisco Bay Area; and Tampa, FL.

Cost of the workshop, which is subsidized by a grant, is US$10 for NPPA members and US$20 for non-members. Registration for the McLean workshop is now open.
