In celebration of the company's 15th anniversary, Camera Bits has since earlier this year been offering a special single user license of Photo Mechanic 4.6.6 for US$60. The promotional price for the powerful pro photo browser ends Saturday, April 30, 2011, and represents a discount of US$90 off the US$150 regular price, albeit without the one year of free minor/major updates that accompany the US$150 license.

In effect, Camera Bits is offering a way to purchase a license of the
Mac/Windows software that separates the initial cost from the
cost of future major version releases (though any 4.6.x updates will be
