PDNOnline has posted a short article with some hints from photo editors and art directors about what they look for when they consider giving a video assignment to a still photographer. 

The article appears to be a teaser for a longer version that's unfortunately only available to PDN subscribers, but it includes three short reels shot by still photographers along with commentary by art directors who gave the photographers video assignments based on what they saw in the reels.
