ACD System has released a public beta of the next version of its photo browsing and RAW conversion application, ACDSee Pro 4. The beta, which is available for Windows only, promises improved RAW processing quality and metadata management, new vignetting, chromatic aberration and defringing tools, a revamped map view and more.
ACDSee Pro 4.0 (Build 93) public beta for Windows is a free download from the ACD Systems website (a registration code sent to you by email is also required - the installer walks through the process of obtaining the code). A projected ship date and price for the eventual official release is not given.
