Elinca is developing an app for the Apple iPhone, iPod touch and iPad that will enable wireless control of Elinchrom RX flash units, including modeling light behaviour, power settings, triggering and more.
Though few additional details have been given, it appears to be a mobile version of the company's EL-Skyport Software 3.0 for Mac and Windows.
Elinca is targeting an early 2011 release for the app, which will be made available for a "modest" fee through Apple's App Store within iTunes, says a notice on the Elinchrom website. The app is to be officially introduced at next week's Photokina 2010 trade show in Cologne, Germany.
