In an insightful if gloomy article on the Editorial Photographers UK site, Neil Burgess, a founder of Magnum in London who now runs his own picture agency, argues it's time to stop talking about the pending death of photojournalism and instead declare it officially dead. He cites as key evidence the absence of funding by newspapers and magazines of true photo reporting.
