Singular Software has posted build 3317 of DualEyes 1.0.0, a new beta version of its upcoming audio-to-video synchronization software. Changes since the original beta release, v1.0.0 build 3089, are not listed.
The
standalone application, which is based on the company's superb
PluralEyes plug-in for Final Cut Pro and other pro video editors, takes
video from a digital SLR or other source plus separately recorded audio
and synchronizes the two together, either replacing the audio track
within the video files with the external audio or creating audio files
which precisely match each video clip.
As before, build v1.0.0 build 3317 is for Windows only. The company has previously stated that a Mac version will follow at a later date.
A video demo of DualEyes is here. Brief instructions are here. V1.0.0 build 3317 is available for download at no charge. The final version will not be free, though a price has not been set.
