| Photographer publishes suggested workflow for Canon EOS E1 video import plug-in |

Photographer Ben Curtis has published a suggested workflow for the Canon EOS E1 plug-in for Final Cut Pro, one that helps work around the fact the plug-in is designed to import .MOV files directly from a memory card and needs to be coaxed to import video residing elsewhere.
His workflow is described in two posts:
The Canon EOS E1 plug-in, released earlier this month, enables video captured with the EOS-1D Mark IV, EOS 7D and EOS 5D Mark II to be more-rapidly converted to the ProRes codec, plus it allows for the addition of timecode and other information to inbound footage.
