Apple has released Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update 2.6, which adds the ability to decode RAW files taken with the Canon EOS Rebel T1i (known in other parts of the world as the 500D or Kiss Digital X3), Nikon D5000 and Olympus E-30 to Aperture 2.x and iPhoto '08/'09 for Mac.
Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update 2.6 is available via the Software Update mechanism of Mac OS X 10.5.6 or later. A standalone download is here.
