| The English-language edition of Nikon Pro magazine, a publication of Nikon in Europe, has begun to land in subscribers' mailboxes, and it contains full details of the much-anticipated D3X digital SLR. In a blog posting today, UK-based pro cycling photographer Seb Rogers has published photos of his copy, which he says "dropped on the doormat this morning," and it reveals a 24.5MP full-frame camera capable of 5 fps continuous shooting at full resolution (7 fps when set to capture 10MP DX Format photos), a standard ISO range of 100-1600 (plus an extended range of 50-6400) in a body that's effectively identical to the D3. |

The clips show well the shallow focus capabilities of a video camera with a 35mm-size sensor, as well as Laforet's inventiveness in using the 5D Mark II in this way. It's well worth a look. |
